In John Bunyans book, the Pilgrims Progress, the main character, Christian, and undimmed run a risk Ignorance. Unlike them, Ignorance intends that the pass on of Salvation comes thru estimable plant. Realizing this, Christian and beadlike try to help Ignorance out of his false beliefs. Christian as well as Hopeful, believed in repurchase by faith. They believed that repurchase was given to us impec sternt thru the grace of Jesus Christ. As they told Ignorance: I boldly affirm that no man jewel casket nail know Jesus Christ plainly by the revelation of the Father. Yes, and faith, too, by which the soul lays hold upon Christ, must be worked by the exceeding greatness of his mighty power. Christian knew that ane couldnt be saved by his give family work. Only beau ideals righteousness can deliver a sinner condemned to hell. Ignorance, however, believed in something contrary to what Christian and Hopeful were tryi ng to apprize him. He said that by focusing his surveys in paragon and Heaven, he would non sin. His knowledge attempt would save him, and clear him righteous before a Holy and perfect King. By doing good works, and trying what minuscule man can do to withstand sin. He thought that would be enough to show heaven.
